Pakistan successfully experience of transferring buffalo embryos
Scientists at the National Agricultural Research Center have achieved the first buffalo pregnancy using in vitro embryo production and transfer technology.
This Chinese procedure involves taking embryos from high-breed buffaloes and transplanting them into other buffaloes. Pakistan Agricultural Research Council Chairman Dr. Ghulam Muhammad Ali said that this success was achieved by using a protocol developed by a Chinese company and this project is a joint research project on Pakistan’s Neli Ravi buffalo breed.
