Saudi Arabia Welcomes Fijian Conjoined Twins for Specialized Medical Assessment Under Humanitarian Program

Riyadh, July 31, 2026(Kamran Raja): In implementation of the directives of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Fijian conjoined twins Jesibelle and Desisia arrived in Riyadh on Friday to receive specialized medical care under the Kingdom’s internationally recognized Saudi Conjoined Twins Program.

Upon their arrival at King Khalid International Airport, the twins were transferred to King Abdullah Specialist Children’s Hospital, where a multidisciplinary medical team will conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess their condition and determine the feasibility of separation surgery.

Supervisor General of the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) and Head of the Surgical Team, Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah, expressed his profound appreciation to the Saudi leadership for its continued support of humanitarian initiatives. He noted that the Saudi Conjoined Twins Program embodies the Kingdom’s unwavering commitment to providing life-saving medical assistance to children from around the world and reflects Saudi Arabia’s globally recognized expertise in managing highly complex medical cases.

The twins’ family conveyed their heartfelt gratitude to the leadership, government, and people of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the warm welcome, generous hospitality, and exceptional medical care provided to their daughters.
