Islamabad, 30 July , 2026 (Kamran Raja): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation with Saudi Arabia’s Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan, to discuss key regional and international developments, according to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

During the conversation, the two foreign ministers exchanged views on the evolving regional and global situation. They paid particular attention to recent developments in the Red Sea and the Bab al-Mandeb Strait, emphasizing the importance of maintaining peace, stability, and the uninterrupted flow of maritime trade in the region.

The ministers also discussed the worsening humanitarian and political situation in Palestine, with special focus on East Jerusalem. Both leaders welcomed Jordan’s proposal to convene a meeting of Arab and Islamic countries to deliberate on the grave situation in the occupied Palestinian territories and to coordinate a collective response.

Reaffirming the strong and longstanding relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, the two foreign ministers agreed to remain in close contact and continue consultations on issues of mutual concern.

The discussion reflects Pakistan’s continued diplomatic engagement with regional partners on matters affecting peace, security, and the welfare of the Muslim world.
