Chinese Ambassador, appreciated Pakistan’s constructive and facilitative role in promoting Peace dialogue

Islamabad, April 13, 2026(Kamran Raja):The Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, met today with the Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan, Jiang Zaidong, at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad.

According to official sources from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting focused on recent regional developments following the Islamabad talks, with both sides exchanging views on evolving diplomatic engagements in the region.

During the discussion, DPM/FM Mohammad Ishaq Dar reaffirmed Pakistan’s continued commitment to supporting dialogue and diplomacy as the preferred means of resolving international disputes.

The Chinese Ambassador, Jiang Zaidong, appreciated Pakistan’s constructive and facilitative role in promoting direct dialogue between the United States and Iran, particularly in light of the ongoing diplomatic process hosted in Islamabad.

Both sides reiterated the importance of the PakistanChina All-Weather Strategic Cooperative Partnership, emphasizing the enduring strength of bilateral relations and continued collaboration on regional peace, stability, and development.

The meeting concluded with a shared commitment to further deepen cooperation and maintain close coordination on matters of mutual interest.
