Pakistan–U.S. Joint Exercise “Inspired Gambit–2026” Concludes Distinguished Visitors’ Day at NCTC Pabbi: ISPR

Rawalpindi, 15 January 2026(Kamran Raja): Exercise Inspired Gambit–2026, a bilateral counter-terrorism (CT) exercise between the Pakistan Army and the United States Army, is being conducted from 8 to 16 January 2026. The two-week-long exercise marks the 13th iteration of this long-standing training series, held regularly since 1995, aimed at strengthening professional military cooperation between the two armies.

A Distinguished Visitors’ Day ceremony was held on 15 January 2026 at the National Counter Terrorism Centre (NCTC), Pabbi. Her Excellency Ms. Natalie Baker, Chargé d’Affaires of the United States of America to Pakistan, accompanied by senior U.S. military dignitaries, graced the occasion along with the Commander Rawalpindi Corps.

During the visit, the dignitaries were briefed on the scope, objectives, and conduct of the exercise. Participants from both armies demonstrated a high level of professionalism, operational readiness, and tactical competence, which was widely appreciated by the visiting delegation.

Exercise Inspired Gambit–2026 aims to enhance bilateral military cooperation through the exchange of counter-terrorism experiences, refinement of CT drills and procedures, and the development of interoperability between the Pakistan Army and the United States Army.
