Pakistan and Egypt Reaffirm Commitment to Deepening Defence and Strategic Cooperation: ISPR

Rawalpindi – 30 November 2025(Kamran Raja): H.E. Dr. Badr Ahmed Mohamed Abdelatty, Foreign Minister of the Arab Republic of Egypt, called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, NI (M), HJ, at General Headquarters (GHQ) Rawalpindi today. During the meeting, both dignitaries conducted a comprehensive review of bilateral relations between the two brotherly nations, with particular emphasis on defence and security cooperation, military-to-military engagements, training collaborations, and initiatives aimed at promoting regional peace and stability.

The discussion reaffirmed the shared commitment of Pakistan and Egypt to further strengthen coordination and expand their long-standing partnership in defence and broader strategic domains. The Egyptian Foreign Minister conveyed warm greetings from the leadership of Egypt and reiterated Egypt’s keen interest in enhancing cooperation with Pakistan across all sectors.

Both sides also underscored the importance of continued high-level exchanges to effectively address emerging challenges, particularly in the context of evolving regional security dynamics.
