Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi along with Chief Minister Balochistan chairing an important law and order meeting in Quetta
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi paid a detailed visit to Quetta today after the incidents of terrorism in some areas of Balochistan. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti presided over a high-level meeting on law and order. A meeting was also held between Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti. Upon his arrival in Quetta, Provincial Ministers Asfandyar Kakar and Ali Madad Jatak welcomed Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi. IG Police Balochistan, Additional Chief Secretary Home and senior officials were also present at the airport. Chief Minister of Balochistan Sarfaraz Bugti welcomed the Federal Interior Minister on his arrival at the Chief Minister’s House. In the meeting between Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti, they discussed the measures taken to protect peace and public life and property of the people in Balochistan. Interior Minister and Balochistan Chief Minister strongly condemned the recent incidents of terrorism. Both the leaders paid tribute to the martyrs’ sacrifices and prayed for the martyrs’ reward. Federal Interior Minister and Balochistan Chief Minister expressed complete solidarity with the families of the martyrs and said that this war is the war of every Pakistani. The Federal Interior Minister assured that the Federal Government will provide all possible support for peace in Balochistan. Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti said that more measures are being taken to ensure law and order, a handful of elements are involved in sabotage activities. Later, a special meeting was held under the chairmanship of Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti and Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi. In the meeting held at the Chief Minister’s House, the law and order situation in the province was reviewed. In the meeting, a briefing was given about the recent incidents of terrorism in different areas of Balochistan. Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said that on the special instructions of Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif, he visited Quetta today and we came to support the government and people of Balochistan. The federal government stands with the people of Balochistan and dealt with terrorists with iron hands. Balochistan Chief Secretary, Additional Chief Secretary Interior, Inspector General Police, IG Frontier Corps North, IG Frontier Corps South, DIG CTD, DIG Special Branch, DG Levies and Law Enforcement officials also participated.
