QUETTA, 9 August, 2026 (Kamran Raja): Security forces have killed 15 militants in a series of intelligence-based operations conducted across various areas of Balochistan under the ongoing Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad 3, security sources said on Sunday. According to security sources, multiple intelligence-based operations were carried out in Mastung, Bolan, Washuk, Awaran, Sibi, Khuzdar, Harnai and Nushki following reports of militant activity in the region.The operations resulted in the killing of 15 militants, while a large quantity of weapons, ammunition and other material was also recovered from their possession, the sources said. Security sources stated that the successful operations dealt a significant blow to militant networks operating in the province and disrupted their movement and activities.They further said that security forces remain determined to continue intelligence-based operations against militant elements under Operation Radd-ul-Fasaad 3 until the complete elimination of terrorism and restoration of lasting peace in the province.Security forces reiterated their resolve to take all necessary measures to protect the lives and property of citizens and maintain peace and stability across Balochistan.
