US Ambassador Donald Bloom arrived at the Ministry of Interior. Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi welcomed US Ambassador Donald Bloom.
There was an Important meeting of American Ambassador Donald Bloom with Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.
Discussion on Pakistan-US relations and issues of mutual interest.
In the meeting, it was agreed to increase cooperation in the fields of anti-terrorism, anti-narcotics and security.
A joint Law Enforcement Dialogue will be held in October. Mohsin Naqvi said US cooperation is of utmost importance in enhancing the capacity of law enforcement agencies.
Mohsin Naqvi said Ministry of Interior will provide full support in making mutual relations more stable. In a recent visit to New York, discussions were held to increase cooperation between the Islamabad Police and the New York Police Department.
Mohsin Naqvi also said A delegation of Islamabad Police will visit New York soon to take advantage of opportunities for mutual cooperation.
Islamabad police officers are willing to be trained by the New York Police Department.
All minorities living in Pakistan have equal rights under the Constitution of Pakistan.
The protection of minorities is the responsibility of the government and all possible measures have been taken in this regard. All the accused of Jaranwala tragedy were arrested and brought before the court.
