The Federal Judicial Academy (FJA) and UNICEF have signed an MoU to accelerate progress on justice for children in Pakistan. Director General FJA, Hayat Ali Shah and UNICEF Representative in Pakistan, Abdullah Fadil signed the agreement which aims to ensure that children, as victims, witnesses, or alleged offenders, receive fair treatment, legal protection and appropriate representation. 
The collaboration will strengthen the justice capacity to address children’s needs by promoting child-friendly courts, legal services and alternative dispute resolution mechanisms, so that delivery of children’s rights to live free from violence, exploitation and detention is ensured.
