The Apex Committee meeting is going on in Peshawar under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif.

According to the statement issued by the media wing of the Prime Minister’s Office, the meeting will discuss the motives behind the horrific incident of terrorism that took place in the mosque of Peshawar Police Lines on January 30.

The Apex Committee meeting will also discuss measures to end terrorism, CTD and police upgradation.

Federal ministers, four provinces, chief ministers of Gilgit-Baltistan, prime minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, security forces, police officials and senior government officials are participating in the meeting.
