The US would not take Part in Attacks Against Iran

The US military said late Saturday that it had shot down Iranian drones heading towards Israel as part of Iran's retaliatory attack on the Jewish state. "Consistent with our commitment to Israel's security, US forces in the region continue to shoot down Iranian drones targeting Israel," a US military official said in a press release. "Our military forces stand ready to provide additional defensive support and protection to US forces operating in the region. It was not disclosed how many UAVs were shot down or where.
