Islamabad, 4 March 2025 (Kamran Raja): Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif chairs review meeting on recent visit to Azerbaijan, directs to implement signed MoUs and agreements soon. Prime Minister directs Ministry of Commerce to present comprehensive action plan to increase current trade volume between Pakistan and Azerbaijan to $2 billion. The Prime Minister has formed a committee under the supervision of Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar regarding the announcement of $2 billion investment in Pakistan by the President of Azerbaijan. The committee will ensure preparations for agreements in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
