Pakistani peacekeeper deployed with UN Force in Cyprus wins award for gender advocacy
Pakistan Armed force's Major Sania Safdar, who is presenting with the United Nations Force in Cyprus, UNFICYP, turned into its most memorable peacekeeper to get the 2023 'Endorsement of Acknowledgment' for pushing orientation balance, as per the mission.
The honor, gave by the New York-based U.N. Division for Harmony Tasks, was introduced to her by the Extraordinary Delegate of the UN Secretary-General in Cyprus, Colin Stewart.
