2,400 Indian Sikh Pilgrims arrived at the Wagah Border
Marking the beginning of Khalsa Janam-din and Vasakhi Mela 2024, an impressive gathering of 2,400 Indian Sikh pilgrims arrived at the Wagah border. The visitors were hospitably received and greeted by prominent officials, including the PSGPC Pardhan Sardar. Ramesh Singh Arora along with Additional Secretary Shrines Rana Shahid Saleem and respected Sikh leaders like Sardar Mampal Singh, Sardar Tara Singh and Satwant Kaur.
Group Leader Kulvant Singh and Party Deputy Chairman Amarjit Singh thanked the Government of Pakistan and the Evacuation Foundation and expressed their happiness to be in Pakistan. They emphasized the importance of visiting Sikh heritage sites in the country and highlighted the strong desire of the Sikh community to undertake this pilgrimage.
