Major Operation at Lahore Airport — Human Smuggling Plan Foiled
Lahore, 30 March 2026(Kamran Raja): The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration carried out a successful operation at Lahore Airport, foiling an organized human smuggling attempt being conducted under the guise of visit visas. During the operation, 2 passengers along with 3 agents were arrested.According to details, passengers Shahzaib Riaz and Mirza Usman were found suspicious during immigration clearance. Initial interrogation revealed that the accused were planning to travel illegally to Albania via the Sri Lanka–Cambodia route.Further investigation disclosed that the accused had paid Rs. 2 million each to agents namely Tayyab, Khalid, and Kashif Ali for facilitating their illegal travel abroad.On the identification of the accused, FIA Immigration officials conducted ...
