Islamabad: 05-05-2025(Kamran Raja): Important progress in Pakistan Railways’ freight sector, UAE offers long-term agreement. UAE expresses interest in bilateral agreement between Karachi Gateway Terminal and Pakistan Railways.UAE offers mutual cooperation to start freight train services between Pakistan Railways and Karachi Gateway Terminal (owned by a subsidiary of Ad Ports Group). This agreement will increase Pakistan Railways’ freight market share. The country’s multimodal transport capabilities will be further improved.UAE has offered long-term cooperation to modernize Pakistan Railways’ freight services.
