  17 March 2025, Islamabad(Kamran Raja): Federal Minister for Railways Muhammad Hanif Abbasi met with Ahmed Al-Tahiri, the First Secretary of the United Arab Emirates to Pakistan, at the Ministry of Railways. During the meeting, the UAE First Secretary congratulated Hanif Abbasi on assuming his new role as Federal Minister for Railways and extended his best wishes for his success. Ahmed Al-Tahiri also expressed deep sorrow over the recent terrorist attack on the Jaffer Express near Paneer Railway Station in Kachhi Bolan, where terrorists attempted to hijack the train and took passengers hostage.
