Riyadh, November 13, 2025(Kamran Raja): The Saudi Data and AI Authority (SDAIA) announced that it will host the fourth edition of the Global AI Summit in Riyadh from September 15 to 17, 2026, under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, and Chairman of the SDAIA Board of Directors.

The summit will bring together a high-profile international delegation of government leaders, decision-makers, CEOs of leading technology companies, experts, innovators, and researchers in the fields of data and artificial intelligence from around the world.

SDAIA President Dr. Abdullah Alghamdi expressed gratitude for HRH the Crown Prince’s patronage, emphasizing that it reflects the continuous support for SDAIA’s efforts, which have advanced the Kingdom’s position among the world’s leading nations in AI readiness and innovation.

Dr. Alghamdi noted that the upcoming summit comes at a crucial time amid rapid advancements in AI technologies that are transforming modern life and shaping the future. He stated that the event will contribute to supporting the Kingdom’s transition to a knowledge-based economy and to achieving the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

Building on the success of the 2020, 2022, and 2024 editions, the 2026 summit is expected to feature high-impact discussions, agreements, and initiatives. Among the notable outcomes of previous editions was the establishment of the International Center for AI Research and Ethics (ICAIRE) — a UNESCO-affiliated center headquartered in Riyadh.

Dr. Alghamdi added that the summit underscores the Kingdom’s commitment to building a sustainable, innovation-driven economy and strengthening its role as a global hub for artificial intelligence. The event represents a key milestone in realizing Vision 2030’s goals of fostering innovation, digital transformation, and international collaboration in emerging technologies.
