Discussion on the progress regarding the recent economic cooperation between the two countries

Prime Minister said Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have decades of brotherly ties which are getting stronger with each passing day.

The Prime Minister expressed his best wishes to the Custodian of the Two Holy Harams His Excellency King Salman bin Abdulaziz and the Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister His Excellency Prince Mohammed bin Salman. The meeting with the Saudi Crown Prince and Prime Minister His Excellency Muhammad bin Salman on the sidelines of the Future Investment Initiative Forum was very useful.

Your recent visit to Pakistan was an important milestone in strengthening investment and economic ties between the two countries.
During the Saudi Investment Minister’s visit to Pakistan, work has started on 8 of the 2.8 billion dollar MoUs signed for cooperation: Prime Minister expressed satisfaction.

Greater cooperation between the two countries in areas of mutual interest is taking shape, which is very welcome. Discussions between Pakistani and Saudi businesses at the Pak-Saudi Business Forum in October have paved the way for new investments and deepened economic cooperation with Pakistan.
Developments through Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC) are playing an important role in accelerating foreign investment in Pakistan.

Pakistanis living in Saudi Arabia are playing an important role in the economic development of both countries. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar, Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Ataullah Tarar, Special Assistant to Prime Minister Tariq Fatemi were also present in the meeting.
