Riyadh, June 29, 2026Kamran Raja): The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has been ranked the safest country among the G20 nations, according to country-reported data published in the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Indicators Database and compared with the 2025 Safety Index issued by the General Authority for Statistics (GASTAT). The latest findings revealed that 97.7 percent of the Kingdom’s population feels safe walking alone at night in their residential neighborhoods, reflecting the high level of public safety and security maintained across the country. Saudi Arabia’s approach to national security extends beyond public safety, encompassing economic, food, environmental, health, social, political, intellectual, technological, and cybersecurity. These integrated efforts contribute to creating a secure environment for citizens, residents, and visitors while supporting the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
