In a lengthy Instagram post on Monday, the Animal star criticised the harsh trolling directed at the couple, saying the backlash had begun to resemble “an angry mob looking for someone to vent at” rather than a discussion based on differing opinions. Addressing comments about her revelation that she had repeatedly initiated conversations about marriage with Vijay over the course of a year, Rashmika clarified that the discussion was never about the number of times she asked or the length of time involved. She explained that Vijay wanted both of them to have enough time and space to understand each other and make sure they were ready for marriage despite life’s challenges and uncertainties.
