11 January 2025, Islamabad(Kamran Raja): During the address Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has said that collective efforts are needed to provide sustainable educational opportunities for girls, society will be strong and developed by providing quality education to girls, philanthropists and business organizations can expand to ensure the education of girls. And support the government in finding sustainable opportunities, women have the potential to play an effective role in the national and global economy with their skills. Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif expressed these views while delivering the keynote address at the opening session of the two-day international conference on “Girls’ Education in Muslim Societies: Challenges and Opportunities” here on Saturday. Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif urged global and local organizations, philanthropists and businesses to support the government in finding scalable and sustainable opportunities to ensure girls’ education.

Prime Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif said that the society will be strong and developed by providing quality education to girls. He said that women have full potential to play an effective role in the national and global economy with their abilities. While welcoming the participants of the conference, the Prime Minister said that hosting the conference is an honor for Pakistan. He said that women have the ability to not only lift themselves, their families and the nation out of poverty, but also contribute to the global economy and find innovative solutions to common challenges. The Prime Minister said that Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah was a strong supporter of the role of women in nation building. He had said that no nation can reach the height of greatness until its women do not stand by the side of men.
