
Rawalpindi, May 14, 2026(Kamran Raja): Pakistan successfully conducted a training launch of the indigenously developed Fatah-4 Ground Launched Cruise Missile (GLCM) on Wednesday under the supervision of the Pakistan Army Rocket Force Command. According to official sources, the missile system is equipped with advanced avionics and state-of-the-art navigational technologies, enabling it to engage long-range targets with high precision and enhanced operational effectiveness. The training launch was carried out to enhance the operational readiness of troops and validate the technical parameters of various upgraded sub-systems incorporated into the weapon system for improved accuracy and survivability in modern battlefield conditions.
Senior officers of the Pakistan Army Rocket Force Command witnessed the successful training fire alongside scientists and engineers associated with the missile’s development programme. The successful launch reflects Pakistan’s continued progress in indigenous defence technology and strategic capabilities aimed at strengthening national defence preparedness. President of Pakistan, Prime Minister of Pakistan, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee/Chief of Defence Staff (CDF), Chief of the Naval Staff, and Chief of the Air Staff congratulated the armed forces, scientists, engineers, and all personnel involved in the successful training exercise.
The national leadership praised the technical expertise, dedication, and commitment demonstrated by the teams contributing to the successful development and operational validation of the Fatah series missile system.
