Nine Terrorists Killed in Two Separate Security Operations in Balochistan

Quetta, 14 September, 2026 (Kamran Raja): Security forces have killed nine terrorists in two separate operations in Balochistan’s Mastung and Pishin districts, while four Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) personnel were injured in an exchange of fire. In Mastung, security forces conducted an operation against militants affiliated with Fitna al-Hindustan, killing three terrorists, including a commander identified as Naqeeb. According to security sources, a quadcopter successfully targeted the militants’ vehicle, killing all three terrorists and completely destroying the vehicle. Separately, the CTD conducted an intelligence-based operation in the Saranan area of Pishin, where six suspected militants were killed in an exchange of fire. Four security personnel were also wounded during the operation. The CTD said the deceased suspects were affiliated with a banned organisation and that weapons and explosives were recovered from their possession. The suspects were also allegedly involved in attacks targeting security forces and civilians. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi commended the security forces for their successful operations and praised their professionalism and capabilities in eliminating terrorists, including the commander in Mastung. He said the forces had foiled the terrorists’ plans and prevented them from achieving their objectives. Mohsin Naqvi paid tribute to the security forces for their sacrifices in the fight against terrorism and reiterated that operations against terrorist elements would continue until their complete elimination. He said the nation stands firmly alongside the security forces and expressed confidence in their continued efforts to ensure peace and security across the country.
