Army Chief General Asim Munir met Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in which it was agreed to further strengthen bilateral relations and defense cooperation. According to the Saudi news agency, on Monday morning Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa met Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in which matters of mutual interest were discussed. In the meeting between the two leaders, it was also agreed to strengthen bilateral relations, military and defense cooperation, while the Saudi Crown Prince also congratulated General Asim Munir on assuming the post of Army Chief.

According to the sources, Saudi and Pakistani high officials also participated in the meeting between Army Chief General Asim Munir and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman. It should be noted that a day ago, when the chief of the Pakistan Army performed Umrah, the doors of the Kaaba were also opened for him.

“We emphasized the strategic partnership between our brotherly countries, reviewed bilateral military and defense ties, and discussed ways to strengthen our cooperation,” the Saudi minister said in a tweet. After completing his visit to Saudi Arabia, the army chief will go to the United Arab Emirates to discuss bilateral security cooperation.
