Islamabad, 27 October, 2026 (Ghufran): The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) has released a special song to express solidarity with the people of Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir on Kashmir Black Day, observed annually on October 27. The song pays tribute to the courage, resilience and sacrifices of the Kashmiri people while highlighting their continued struggle for freedom and their aspirations for a peaceful future. Featuring emotionally evocative lyrics and an inspiring musical composition, the song portrays the determination of Kashmiris in the face of adversity and conveys a message of hope and perseverance in their pursuit of freedom. It also features prominent figures associated with the Kashmiri freedom movement, including Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Burhan Wani. The production further references the capture of Indian Air Force pilot Abhinandan and missile-firing incidents to highlight Pakistan’s defence preparedness and resolve. The song concludes by reaffirming Pakistan’s military leadership’s support for the Kashmiri people and their struggle against what Pakistan describes as Indian oppression. Kashmir Black Day is observed every year on October 27 to commemorate the arrival of Indian forces in Srinagar on October 27, 1947, an event regarded in Pakistan as the beginning of a prolonged period of suffering for the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
