Tehran, August 4, 2026 (Ghufran): Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has firmly dismissed speculation regarding his resignation, stating that he has no intention of stepping down and remains committed to fulfilling his responsibilities. Addressing reports circulating about his political future, President Pezeshkian said that if he ever decided to resign, he would make such an announcement officially. He stressed that the rumors were unfounded and aimed at creating confusion.

The President also rejected claims of divisions within Iran’s leadership, asserting that the country’s senior leadership and armed forces are fully united and working in complete coordination.”They want to sow discord by suggesting that the Leader says one thing while others say something else,” he said. “We are in complete coordination with the armed forces.”President Pezeshkian reaffirmed his resolve to continue serving the nation, emphasizing that Iran’s leadership remains united in addressing national challenges and safeguarding the country’s stability and interests.
