ICAP President Mr. M. Ali Latif Raises National Flag on Pakistan’s 76th Independence Day

 

ICAP President Mr. M. Ali Latif raised the Flag on Pakistan’s 76th Independence Day, Uplifting the Spirit of Patriotism and National Unity. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Pakistan (ICAP) commemorated the 76th Independence Day of Pakistan with a flag-raising ceremony at its offices across Pakistan. The event graced with profound reverence and enthusiasm, was presided over by Mr. M. Ali Latif, President ICAP.

The ceremony commenced with the hoisting of the national flag, symbolizing the nation’s strength, resilience, and the spirit of freedom that binds us together.

Speaking on the occasion, President ICAP, Mr. M. Ali Latif, emphasized the significance of Independence Day and the pivotal role of chartered accountants in shaping Pakistan’s economic landscape. He stated that on this momentous day, we commemorate the sacrifices and struggles of our forefathers who fought tirelessly to secure our freedom. The history of our independence is a testament to the unwavering determination and resilience of our people. We should remember the leadership of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah (RA) who envisioned Pakistan as an independent state where muslims could live with dignity and freedom. He further added that we must not forget the significance of our nation being a nuclear power, which reinforces our commitment to safeguarding sovereignty and ensuring national security. In times of calamities, our nation has demonstrated unparalleled resilience and unity, standing strong in the face of adversities and extending a helping hand to those in need. Let us also stand in solidarity with our brothers and sisters in Kashmir, acknowledging their struggle for self-determination and advocating for a peaceful resolution of the Kashmir issue based on justice and human rights. Together, let us forge a path towards a brighter and harmonious future for our beloved Pakistan.
He further stated that ICAP remains steadfast in its mission to promote excellence in the field of accounting and finance. ICAP members are playing a pivotal role in driving the economic development of Pakistan and creating a positive impact on economy od our Country. Let us continue to work together with determination and dedication, upholding the values that define our great nation.
The event witnessed the presence of Council Members ICAP, distinguished Former Presidents, ICAP members, students, and staff who participated with great fervor, showcasing their love for Pakistan.
