Gwadar 26 June 2025(Kamran Raja): Night fire exercise at Gwadar Airport. Rescue teams extinguished an aircraft fire in a mock air crash. Demonstration of prompt response during the night exercise, teams reached the spot on time.
Timely coordination enabled timely rescue response. Triage zone was established for first aid to the injured in the emergency exercise. Triage of victims in the triage zone and immediate medical assistance were part of the exercise. An effective practical demonstration of coordination between ASF, other agencies and rescue teams in the exercise.
All agencies played a coordinated role during the exercise. Firefighters, medical staff and security personnel participated fully in the exercise.
The exercise, supervised by the Chief Fire and Rescue Officer, reviewed the field command and airport emergency plan. Senior officials inspected every aspect of emergency response in the exercise.
Lighting, visibility and communication aspects were tested in the night exercise.
