Multan, 14 September, 2026 (Kamran Raja): The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Immigration Multan has taken major action against illegal migration, arresting seven passengers who had allegedly travelled abroad after illegally crossing international borders. The arrested passengers were identified as Haider Abbas, Iqtidar Hussain, Hassan Ali, Ali Bakhsh, Sanaullah, Muhammad Idrees and Irfan Ahmed, who were deported from Malaysia, Iraq and other countries over illegal stay and unauthorised border crossings. According to the FIA, the passengers arrived at Multan Airport on flight number G9558, and during immigration clearance, no travel record related to their departure from Pakistan was found in the system. Initial investigation revealed that the passengers had allegedly crossed international borders through illegal routes to travel abroad, while agents reportedly lured them with promises of employment and arranged their travel to foreign countries through unlawful means. FIA Immigration Multan has referred the case to the Anti-Human Trafficking Circle Multan for further investigation into the travel agents and the network allegedly facilitating illegal migration. The FIA reiterated its commitment to continuing action against elements involved in illegal migration and human trafficking, adding that legal action will be taken against individuals travelling abroad through illegal channels as well as those facilitating such activities.
