
Quetta January 16, 2026(Kamran Raja): Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Chief Minister Balochistan Sarfaraz Bugti visited the Frontier Corps (FC) Balochistan North Headquarters today. A smartly turned-out contingent of FC Balochistan North presented a salute to the visiting dignitaries upon their arrival. Inspector General FC Balochistan North, Major General Muhammad Atif Mujtaba, introduced the Interior Minister and the Chief Minister to officers of the force. The dignitaries offered prayers at the Martyrs’ Monument, laid floral wreaths, and recited Fateha. They prayed for the elevation of ranks of the martyred personnel and paid rich tribute to their eternal sacrifices for the nation.
The IG FC Balochistan North briefed the Federal Interior Minister and the Chief Minister on the force’s training mechanisms, operational preparedness, and professional standards. Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi and Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti appreciated the pivotal role of FC Balochistan North in maintaining peace and stability in the province. Paying tribute to the force’s sacrifices in the war against terrorism, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi stated: “FC Balochistan North’s sacrifices for peace are unforgettable. The officers and jawans have rendered remarkable service in eliminating Fitna-e-Hindustan. Their courage has thwarted hostile agendas and written a golden chapter of bravery.”
Chief Minister Sarfaraz Bugti reaffirmed the provincial government’s unwavering support, saying: “The sons of FC Balochistan North are heroically cleansing the land of Indian-sponsored terrorists. The Government of Balochistan stands arm in arm with our forces in this war.”
Chief Secretary Balochistan and the Inspector General of Balochistan Police were also present on the occasion.
