Rome, Italy 16 September 2025(kamran Raja): Dr. Waqas Nadeem, a humanitarian, lawyer, and President of Humanitas International Islamic World, received a special Award for his great services to humanity. The award ceremony held at the Embassy of Pakistan in Rome, was graced by Federal Minister for Overseas Pakistanis, Chaudhry Salik Hussain, who presented the shield to Dr. Nadeem in the presence of Pakistan’s Ambassador to Italy and distinguished members of the Pakistani community.
Praising Dr. Nadeem’s humanitarian efforts, Federal Minister Chaudhry Salik Hussain and the Ambassador described him as a “precious asset of Pakistan” whose dedication and compassion serve as an inspiration for others. They highlighted that in an age dominated by materialism, Dr. Nadeem has exemplified selflessness and service, bringing pride to both Pakistan and Italy.
Expressing gratitude for the honor, Dr. Waqas Nadeem recalled the values of compassion and service instilled in him by his parents. “Helping the poor and needy became a natural part of my life because of my upbringing,” he said.
Dr. Nadeem noted that his education and professional journey in Italy deepened his resolve to serve humanity, as he observed the strong value Italian society places on selfless service. He acknowledged the support of the Italian government and his colleagues, which enabled him to establish a successful law practice that now serves clients from across the world seeking justice and protection of rights.
Calling this Recognition a “great honor and encouragement,” Dr. Nadeem pledged to continue working with renewed passion to further elevate the names of Pakistan and Italy through his humanitarian and professional services.
