
ISLAMABAD, 05 September, 2026 (Nosheen): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Saturday received a farewell call from Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the United Nations in Geneva, Ambassador Tahir Andrabi. According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, the Deputy Prime Minister appreciated Ambassador Andrabi’s distinguished services at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, particularly his contributions as Spokesperson and Additional Secretary ACDIS. Senator Ishaq Dar also acknowledged Ambassador Andrabi’s effective role in strengthening the Ministry’s strategic communication. The Deputy Prime Minister expressed confidence that Ambassador Andrabi would continue to advance Pakistan’s interests and further strengthen the country’s multilateral engagement in Geneva, particularly during Pakistan’s ongoing Presidency of the UN Conference on Disarmament. Senator Ishaq Dar wished Ambassador Tahir Andrabi success in his new responsibilities.
