LAHORE, 08 August, 2026 (Nosheen): Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz Sharif chaired a special meeting to review and further enhance the “Clean Punjab” initiative across the province.During the meeting, directives were issued to improve the sanitation system throughout Punjab and ensure effective door-to-door waste collection.The Chief Minister directed the relevant authorities to intensify field monitoring to ensure cleanliness operations are being carried out efficiently and consistently.The meeting also emphasized strengthening the overall waste management system and improving sanitation services for citizens across the province.Maryam Nawaz Sharif stressed the need for effective implementation of the cleanliness programme and directed officials to ensure visible improvements in sanitation and waste collection at the grassroots level.
