British High Commissioner Jane Marriott met with Caretaker Home Minister Sarfraz Ahmed Bugti
In the meeting, the two countries agreed to promote relations in various fields. Interior Minister said Pakistan attaches great importance to friendly relations with Britain.
Conducting peaceful, transparent and fair elections is the priority of caretaker government. The Interior Minister will provide all possible support to the Election Commission in conducting the elections. The special role of the Pakistani community living in the UK in the development of both countries is commendable, said the Home Minister.
The British High Commissioner thanked the Home Minister for facilitating the transfer of Afghan refugees to the UK.
