4 October, 2026 (Ghufran): Hollywood actress Angelina Jolie has once again drawn global attention to the devastation in Gaza, highlighting the widespread destruction caused by the ongoing conflict. Jolie shared satellite images showing large areas of Gaza reduced to rubble and said entire neighbourhoods had been devastated. She said homes, schools, hospitals, roads and other essential infrastructure had been destroyed, leaving civilians with limited access to basic facilities. Jolie also warned that around 94 percent of Gaza’s population would require shelter and essential supplies as colder weather approaches. The actress has previously spoken out about the humanitarian situation in Gaza, describing the territory in an earlier statement as a “mass grave” for Palestinians and those attempting to assist them. Her remarks drew strong criticism from Israeli hardliners. Jolie has been a prominent advocate on humanitarian issues for years and has repeatedly used her public platform to highlight the plight of civilians affected by conflict.
