Assistant Superintendent of Police Syeda Shehrbano Naqvi called on General Syed Asim Munir, NI( M), Chief of Army Staff( COAS)Assistant Superintendent of Police Syeda Shehrbano Naqvi called on General Syed Asim Munir, NI( M), Chief of Army Staff( COAS) at General Headquarters, today. COAS lauded ASP Shehrbano for her selfless devotion to duty and professionalism in diffusing a unpredictable situation. The intrepid officer untangled a woman from the delicate terrain of Ichra Bazaar in Lahore on 26 February 2024. COAS conceded the vital part Pakistani women are playing in all walks of life. Since independence, Pakistani women have distinguished themselves at home and abroad, by virtue of their gift, tenacity and commitment. COAS stressed that the women are an inestimable part of Pakistan’s society and their respect is elevated in our religion as well as our social morality. COAS also underlined the significance of social harmony and the need for civil agreement on bridling dogmatism. He emphasized upon the rule of law and advised against taking the law in one’s hands when legal avenues are available for addressing enterprises and grievances. Noting that arbitrary conduct on the base of heterodoxy undermine the outlook of the society, COAS underscored Islam’s eternal communication of kindness and benevolence. COAS appreciated the offerings rendered by the law enforcement agencies to insure the safety and security of the citizens of Pakistan.
