Sidhu Moose Wala’s Younger Brother Goes Viral for Recreating Singer’s Signature Style

Toronto, 17 October, 2026 (Kamran Raja): A video of two-year-old Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, the younger brother of late Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala, has gone viral on social media, showing him imitating his elder brother’s iconic style. The heartwarming moment was captured during the opening event of Sidhu Moose Wala’s hologram world tour, titled “Signed to God,” at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada. In the video, young Shubhdeep can be seen recreating his brother’s famous “Thapi” gesture, in which the singer would slap his thigh with his hand. His parents, Balkaur Singh and Charan Kaur, were also present on stage during the event. Hologram technology, 3D imagery, special visual effects and the singer’s original voice were used to recreate his stage presence and give fans the feeling that he was performing live. The event also marked the release of a new music video for his popular song “295,” featuring previously recorded family videos of the singer. The song was originally released in 2021. Sidhu Moose Wala, whose real name was Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, was shot dead on May 29, 2022, in Jawaharke village in Punjab’s Mansa district, India. Born on June 11, 1993, in Moosa village, he gained international recognition for his distinctive style and contribution to Punjabi music. More than a year after his death, his parents welcomed a second son on March 17, 2024, naming him Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu in honour of his late elder brother.
