Islamabad, 26 September, 2026 (Ghufran): The Pakistan Navy has seized more than 2,800 kilograms of narcotics worth approximately $750 million during an anti-narcotics operation in the Arabian Sea, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR). The operation was conducted by Pakistan Navy vessels PNS Hunain and PNS Yarmook as part of ongoing maritime security operations. Navy personnel intercepted and searched a suspicious fishing boat, leading to the recovery of a large quantity of narcotics with an estimated international market value of around $750 million. Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf commended the crews of both naval vessels for successfully conducting the operation. The Pakistan Navy reaffirmed its commitment to preventing illegal activities at sea, safeguarding national maritime interests and contributing to international maritime security.
