ISLAMABAD, 30 August, 2026 (Ghufran): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar has extended his heartfelt felicitations to the leadership, government and brotherly people of Türkiye on the auspicious occasion of the 104th anniversary of Victory Day. In a message posted on X, Ishaq Dar said Pakistanis joined their Turkish brothers and sisters in celebrating the historic victory and paid tribute to the memory of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, along with all the heroes and martyrs of Türkiye’s War of Independence. He also saluted the enduring spirit, courage and resilience of the Turkish nation, describing Victory Day as an important occasion that reflects Türkiye’s historic struggle and national determination. The Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister emphasized that Pakistan and Türkiye are bound by an exceptional bond of brotherhood, founded on mutual trust, deep-rooted affection and strong people-to-people ties. He said the bilateral relationship between the two brotherly countries had continued to evolve into a comprehensive and multifaceted partnership covering a wide range of areas of mutual interest. Ishaq Dar expressed hope that the longstanding bonds of friendship and brotherhood between Pakistan and Türkiye would continue to grow stronger and reach new heights in the years ahead.He also prayed for the continued progress, prosperity and well-being of the people of Türkiye and for the enduring strength of the close relationship between the two countries.
