ISLAMABAD, 27 August, 2026 (News Desk): Pakistan’s 26-year-old psychology student, model and content creator Misbah Arshad is set to represent the country at the 75th Miss Universe pageant, scheduled to be held on November 24, 2026, in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Misbah Arshad has previously represented Pakistan on international platforms, including Miss International 2023 in Japan. Her selection comes as contestants from around the world prepare to compete in the prestigious global pageant. India recently crowned 19-year-old Kaziah Liz Mejo from Kerala as its representative at the Miss Universe India 2026 finale in Jaipur on August 23. Following Kaziah’s victory, Misbah extended her support to the newly crowned Indian queen. Pakistani Pageants shared a collage featuring Miss Universe Thailand 2026 Tharina Botes, Misbah Arshad and Kaziah Liz Mejo under the caption, “Team Asia: Getting Strong.” Reacting to the post, Misbah congratulated the three queens and wrote, “Last week, we witnessed three beautiful queens being crowned, making Team Asia stronger and more elegant.” She also shared the post on her Instagram Stories. Misbah has previously spoken about the importance of girls’ education, saying her experiences have reinforced her belief that educating girls is one of the most powerful investments in Pakistan’s future. Her participation at Miss Universe 2026 is expected to further highlight Pakistan on the international pageant stage.
