LAHORE,16 August, 2026(Nosheen): The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the 15-member squads for the Women’s Asia Cup and the 20th Asian Games, with regular captain Fatima Sana named to lead the national side in both major tournaments.Fatima Sana missed Pakistan’s recent T20I series against Sri Lanka due to her commitments in The Hundred. She will now return to captain the Pakistan women’s team in the upcoming international assignments.The Women’s Asia Cup will be held in Dubai from August 28 to September 13.The Pakistan squad for the Asia Cup comprises Fatima Sana, Muneeba Ali Siddiqui, Shawaal Zulfiqar, Ayesha Zafar, Gul Feroza, Syaira Jabbeen, Eman Fatima, Eman Nasir, Umme Hani, Tuba Hassan, Nashra Sandhu, Momina Riaz, Najiha Alvi, Waheeda Akhtar and Sadia Yousuf.For the 20th Asian Games, Alia Riaz, Tasmiya Rubab and Humna Bilal have also been included in the squad.The PCB said the squads have been selected with a focus on providing Pakistan’s women cricketers with opportunities to compete at major international events and strengthen the national team ahead of future competitions.
