Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar Concludes Jordan Visit, Departs for Pakistan via Madina

Islamabad, August 5, 2026 (Nosheen): Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar concluded his one-day official visit to Jordan on Wednesday after participating in the Ministerial Meeting on Jerusalem and holding a series of bilateral meetings with fellow foreign ministers.During his visit to Amman, Senator Dar engaged in discussions on matters of mutual interest and regional developments, reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to peace, stability, and support for the Palestinian cause.

Upon his departure from Amman, the Deputy Prime Minister was seen off by Ms. Saja Almajali, Director of the Human Rights Directorate at Jordan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Pakistan’s Ambassador to Jordan, Major General (Retd.) Khurram Sarfraz Khan, along with officials from the Embassy of Pakistan.

Before returning to Pakistan, Senator Ishaq Dar is scheduled to make a stopover in Madina Munawara. His participation in the Ministerial Meeting on Jerusalem underscored Pakistan’s continued diplomatic engagement on issues concerning the Holy City and its unwavering support for the legitimate rights of the Palestinian people.
