The National Security Committee (NSC) meeting preside over by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif
In the National Security Committee (NSC) meeting presided over by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, important decisions regarding the security situation of the country were taken.
The NSC meeting was attended by service chiefs, heads of intelligence agencies, finance minister Ishaq Dar, defense minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif, interior minister Rana Sanaullah and information minister Maryam Aurangzeb, while DGIB and DGFIA were also attended.
According to the sources, the National Security Committee has agreed on strict actions against the terrorists. It was also agreed in the meeting not to make any concessions to those involved in anti-national activities.
During the meeting, it was decided to ensure full implementation of all points of the National Action Plan.
It was decided to take strong action against terrorists, extremists and their facilitators. During the meeting, the government also assured the provision of funds for peace.
