The schedule for the election on the vacant seat of Faisal Vawda has been released

According to the Election Commission, the election on the vacant seat of Faisal Vawda will be held on January 25. The general seat from Sindh became vacant due to the resignation of Faisal Vawda.
The Election Commission says that nomination papers will be submitted from January 5 to 7, which will be scrutinized on January 12.
The Election Commission said that the nomination papers can be withdrawn till January 20 and the voting will be held in the Sindh Assembly building.
It should be noted that on December 28 last year, Faisal Wauda, who was elected senator on the ticket of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), resigned from the membership of the Senate and submitted his resignation to Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani. It should be noted that Faisal Wauda submitted his resignation from the Senate seat in the court seeking unconditional apology from the Supreme Court of Pakistan in the case of dual citizenship.
