New York, 12 June 2026(Nosheen):The Consul General of Pakistan in New York, Mr. Aamer Ahmed Atozai, met former Pakistan Air Force officer Mr. Zahid Yaqoob Amir today and commended him for his exceptional courage and presence of mind in helping subdue an attacker aboard a U.S. flight, thereby contributing to the safety of nearly 200 passengers. The Consul General lauded his heroic action and stated that his bravery, professionalism, and selfless conduct brought pride to Pakistan and served as an inspiring example of public service and responsibility.
