Islamabad 16 March 2026( Kamran Raja ): According to security sources, Pakistani security forces carried out successful precision airstrikes under Operation Ghazab Lil Haq during the night of 16 March 2026, targeting militant infrastructure across the border in Kabul and Nangarhar.
The airstrikes were aimed at technical support infrastructure and an ammunition storage facility located at two sites in Kabul. The targets were successfully neutralized. Visual evidence from the operation indicates a massive secondary detonation following the strike, confirming the presence of a large ammunition depot at the site.
During the same operation, Pakistani forces also carried out precision strikes on Afghan Taliban military installations at four separate locations in Nangarhar province. These strikes resulted in the destruction of logistics facilities, ammunition stockpiles, and technical infrastructure adjacent to the targeted installations.
Security sources dismissed claims made by Zabihullah Mujahid alleging that a medical facility was targeted, terming the assertion baseless and misleading.
The sources reiterated that operations under Operation Ghazab Lil Haq will continue until all designated objectives are achieved and threats to Pakistan’s security are effectively neutralized.
