Federal Minister for Interior & Narcotics Control and Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi meets Saudi Minister of Sports in Riyadh ‎

Riyadh 26 November 2025(News Desk): Federal Minister for Interior & Narcotics Control and Chairman Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Mohsin Naqvi held an important meeting in Riyadh with Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Sports Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal. ‎During the meeting, detailed discussions were held on the promotion of cricket in Saudi Arabia, engaging youth in positive sports activities, and further strengthening cooperation between the two countries in the field of sports. Speaking on the occasion, Mohsin Naqvi said that Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal is taking the sports sector to exceptional new heights under Vision 2030. Under the patronage of the Saudi leadership, the Kingdom has made history by securing the hosting rights of major international tournaments.
‎Mohsin Naqvi congratulated the Saudi Minister of Sports on securing the hosting of the AFC Asian Cup 2027, the Asian Winter Games 2029, the Asian Games 2034, and the FIFA World Cup 2034.

‎The Federal Minister for Interior and Chairman PCB stated that the development of cricket infrastructure in Saudi Arabia, joint training programs, bilateral tours, and junior and youth-level tournaments can create new opportunities for the youth of both countries. ‎Mohsin Naqvi expressed the resolve that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia will make sports especially cricket a strong bridge of friendship and regional harmony. ‎It was agreed in the meeting that the relevant institutions of both countries will further accelerate their coordination, and through practical planning, joint initiatives will soon be finalized to provide maximum positive opportunities for the youth.
