PARIS 23 March 2025(Nosheen): A dignified flag hoisting ceremony was held at the Embassy of Pakistan, Paris to celebrate the Pakistan Day. The event was attended by a wide cross-section of Pakistani diaspora, media representatives and officials of the Embassy.
Special messages of the President, the Prime Minister and the Foreign Minister of Pakistan were read out on the occasion.
Ambassador Mumtaz Zahra Baloch welcomed the guests and thanked them for celebrating the Pakistan Day in unison and solidarity. She underlined the importance of 23rd March in the history of Pakistan and paid rich tribute to the leaders of the freedom movement.
Underscoring the importance of Pakistan – France relations, the Ambassador affirmed her commitment to the expansion of bilateral relations in political, economic, scientific, educational and cultural domains.
The Ambassador appreciated the role of Pakistani community in France and urged them to respect the local laws and culture while working for the welfare of Pakistani nationals in France. She underscored the importance of unity among the Pakistani diaspora and called on them to promote cultural and people-to-people contacts between the two countries. She also assured them of the full support of the Embassy of Pakistan, Paris in facilitating the Pakistani community living in France.
